Employment-Based Immigration
Learn about the “EB” (Employment-Based) categories
Green Card through career, job or investment
The Employment-Based (EB) immigration categories grant a green card for permanent residence in the United States to foreign professionals who can prove extraordinary skills or differentiated careers in their work areas, skilled workers with job offers, investors who wish to open businesses in the U.S. and certain special immigrants.
The EB. categories are classified in order of preference: EB-1 (Extraordinary Skills), EB-2 (National Interest waiver or Advanced Degree), EB-3 (Job offer – sponsor), EB-4 (special immigrants) and EB-5 (investment).
